How to make and install a 360 lace wig?

What is a 360 wig?

360 Wig, (also named 360 lace wigs and 360 frontal wigs), comes with a 360-degree lace sheer that goes around the head. In this post, we will show you how to make a 360 wig with 360 frontal and how to install a 360 lace wig.

How to make a 360 lace wig?

Some items you need to prepare in advance:

360 Lace frontal;

Human hair bundles 2-3 bundles)

A mannequin head;

A mesh cap;

T-pins and clips;

A pair of sharp scissors;

A wide-tooth comb;

Needle and thread;

A tweezer;

Step 1: Put on a wig cap and 360 lace frontal

Put the mesh wig cap on the mannequin's head. And then put the 360 lace frontal on and make sure the edges of the wig cap are completely covered by the 360 frontal. Pin the 360 frontal on the mannequin's head with some T-pins.

Step 2: Sew in 360 frontal

Comb down the hair strands of the 360 frontal, so that the lace edges of the frontal can be exposed completely. Cut off the excess lace with the scissors. Use thread and needle to sew the 360 lace frontal into the mesh cap.

Step 3: Sew in human hair bundles

Start at the back of the frontal and anchor the bundles into the wig cap with a double knot. Sew in a bundle along the back lace edges of the 360 frontal. Once you reach the opposite of the 360 frontal fold the bundle up and continue to sew the next line. Continue to sew in until you finish a full head sew-in.

Step 4: Pluck the wig

Use a tweezer to remove the excess hair strands along the hairline to make your wig look more natural. Use a pair of scissors to cut off the excess lace on the back. 

Step 5: Sew in combs or clips

Turn the wig inside out and sew down two combs on each side with thread and needle. And you can also choose to sew an elastic band at the back of the wig, so you can put this 360 wig on without applying any glue.

How to install a 360 wig?

Some items you need to prepare in advance:

A 360 lace wig;

Cotton balls;

Alcohol;

A wig cap;

A pair of scissors;

A rat-tail comb;

Got2b glue;

A small brush;

Styling tools;

A hairdryer;

Step 1: Prepare your natural hair and skin

Shampoo your natural hair thoroughly and blow it dry at the lowest heat setting. Dap some Alcohol into the cotton balls and wipe along the hairline to remove oil.

Step 2: Put on the wig cap and the wig

Put the wig cap on your head, and then put on the 360 wig. Adjust the band at the back to make the wig fits your head well.

Step 3: Cut off the lace

Pull all the hair back and put it into a ponytail, so that the hairline can be completely exposed. Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut off the excess lace along the hairline.

Step 4: Glue down the wig and style your baby hair

Spray some Got2B glue along the lace sheer in the front and in the back. Use a rat-tail comb to pull a few hair strands out in the front to work as your baby hair. Use a small brush to lay down your baby hair. 

Step 5: (Optional) Custom your hairline

You can choose to apply some cosmetics to your hairline to make the lace melt into your skin.

Step 6: Style the wig

Use styling tools to style your 360 wig as your desire. You can choose to use a flat iron to straighten the hair, or you can curl the hair with a curling iron. You can simply pull all the hair back and make a neat ponytail, or you pull all the hair into double knots on the top. A 360 wig is very versatile in styling.
